Good morning all
Thank you for the start Gers
As usual nothing much to say.
Put the washing out to dry yesterday and I think it was just as wet when I brought it in. Been on the airer all night.
I really don't like these dark evenings, makes the evenings seem so long.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.9 -
Morning everyone SOi know what you mean about the dark days my little dog is pestering the life out of me to go to bed from about 5 onwards there is no peace and I’m another that wishes these fireworks were finished one went off last night I’ve never heard anything as loud it was like a bomb amazingly she wasn’t bothered about that one i think she was just so shocked she hadn’t a clue what it was . It’s dark and dreary here again I’ve got a little gammon joint in the slow cooker we are having tonight but it will do a couple of meals and sandwiches TA your poor friend that sounds painful Remmie I’m another that makes all sorts out of bits and bobs I never know what’s coming out of the oven myself sometimes but it all gets eaten . DP1 hope the little one gets sorted soon she’s been through the mill lately . I’ve had a message of my friend who I met up with the other week who has had the year from hell her mam has died and her dad who has dementia has had a fall and has had to go into care she said he is distraught over her mam she will be pleased when this year is over she lost her husband and son in law earlier in the year which only goes to show we have to count our blessings . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing9

Chrisca, I wouldn't mind but he moans about not being able to find things then goes out and buys more, and guess where they end up. I think when he can get in there and clear it out it will be full of surprises (and I don't mean wasps)!6

I'm with you SILVER O. When you are alone these long dark evenings seem endless. I always bring out the candles and twinkly lights in readiness for the autumn clock change. I don't know whether they lift my mood but they certainly cheer the room up!
If any of you with messy sheds/garages want to come and look in my garage you will realise you have nothing to worry about! My Bob was a 5 star saver of clutter for Justin and the clutter has since been added to by my eldest DGD. When she changed her Uni rental to a smaller place even more of her stuff got dumped in my garage. I've given up telling her that the damp won't be doing her stuff any good but if she's not worried why should I be. Meanwhile I can hardly get out there now,, never mind find what I am looking for.
As you can gather by my mid day witterings, my lunch with DF was called off as her DH got up even more agitated than usual. But my morning has been put to good use. I have built up more stocks of easy eating food for the freezer, in readiness for when the extended excavation work starts in my poor mouth.
Enjoy the rest of your day folks and take care xx
