i have recived a debt collectors letter for a pcn on a vehicle that i havnt driven. i suspect it has been done as part of a vendetta from a previous employer ( hes vindictive).
needless to say i haven't received a single other form of communication about this apart from being told i owe £170.
the "offense was 2.5 years ago and this is the first time ive heard about it.
not sure what to do really i don't want to contact the debt agency as i dont think they will care that i haven't driven that van ( it was issued to another staff member) but feel like contacting the private parking firm to tell them that it wasn't me??

Do nothing UNLESS you receive a Letter of Claim or a court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL
Ignore the debt collectors letters, no contact, they have no power to cancel it, pointless contacting them
Come back to this thread for guidance if you receive an LoC or a court claim1 -
Actually I would contact the DPO email of both the PPC and the debt collectors and tell them that you have never driven this van and require to be told the source of the data. The keeper has lied about the driver and they must revert to the person who lied.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
