Hi
I have just bought a samsung home cinema and the dvd player and tuner works through the speakers but the tv(using the sky digibox) does not. I have found out that the digibox does not support 5.1 surround sound. Does anyone know of a way round this, apart from buying a sky+ box which i understand does support surrond sound.

You should be able to hook it up to get Pro-Logic sound. What Sky box is it, and what connections does it have?
Your tuner won't be able to output 5.1, incidentally.0 -
Hi
The box is an Amstrad DRX200 which is about 5years old. It has two scart sockets and the normal phono sockets( i think thats what you call them). I have looked at the services menu and it only lists stereo or mono.0 -
Plug the Sky Box two phono audio outputs to the AUX IN of the Samsung. Select this source on the Samsung, switch output to Prologic. Away you go. As stated above if you want true 5.1 sound you will need a Sky+ box."...IT'S FRUITY!"0
