Mist Coat Hell

So had some artex skimmed over on walls. Anyway applied mist coat and the amount of bumps etc due to the age of house is quite bad in parts. Now I have applied a skim with easy fill tourpet which looks not bad but my concern now is the wall flashing where I have sanded this location. Now will another mist coat sort this out with a roller or will this need a primer before any other coats

Thanks

Flashing is not normally an issue when using a roller, because it leaves a slight texture.

Toupret filler is really good and doesn't flash much really. I'd go over the filled areas with your mist coat before you apply your normal coats
  • Id agree with the points above, maybe you would just need an extra coat of topcoat to guarantee coverage.
