Off lease vanarama Help!!

I leased a van for business it's lease ended in 2021 it was a cat s in year one. The vanarama lease company said I could pay the pmts and itd be mine I've paid 4.t years plus mots servicing and now they say they want it back I can pay 6k for it or return it? So the lease was done in 2021 its a cat s van worth 2300 if that but I'm in Highlands of Scotland I'm 3 months ahead in pmts no actual contract since 2021? I've paid more than msrp and downtime costs? What can I do?

Did they ever put that in writing?  Did they ever say how many payments you would need to make?

Sounds a very open ended arrangement.

Did you ask how many payments and how much?

how much have you been paying to rent this van?

I would fear if there is nothing in writing, it would just be seen as an ongoing lease but you would need to check back to your original documentation about what happens at the end of your original agreement period
