When do ebay start reporting to HMRC the revenue which is achieved via selling online?
This year I have made £1,020 worth of revenue, should I add the value in my self-assessment?

If the items sold are business income then it would be part of your business income. If it's personal sales, ie items you have owned and used and then disposed of then you don't have to declare anything.

These are personal items which were gifts last xmas and clothes never used. Plus items I have purchased at charity shops/boot sales - so 20% personal and 80% resales0

Ebay pass on information when you reach 30 sales or the equivalent of 2000Euros in sales in a year. They are two different things. HMRC have stated that if someone is selling personal items they remain not interested in them.

Someone posted this recently. It has a lot of information on this page and throughout the website. It should answer all your questions. You can always ask HMRC or an accountant.
