EBay problem

Hi everyone
With all your eBay experience I’m hoping someone can help
i bought an item which had a small issue. It was a lip gloss that is like a lipstick. When I used it I noticed there was a crack and it broke at the bottom. This is not an uncommon problem with lipsticks and I loved it so thought I’d keep it
When it came to feedback I gave the seller a negative. I’m not sure why I did this, it wasn’t really the sellers fault. I’ve never given anyone negative before.
He/she has asked me to change the feedback and I’m more than happy to do it. I’ve never changed feedback before so followed eBay’s instructions. Unfortunately I got the following message

“We're sorry, but we're having trouble sending your revised feedback.”
I had no idea how to resolve this so thought I’d contact eBay. This actually proved tricky. They had drop down menus but there was no “other” box or anything remotely related to my problem. I posted something on Technical but got a message saying they don’t respond directly to items on Technical.
