Glass artist Sue Tinkler has been developing her practice since 2010, learning from international artists and specialising in different techniques, including casting, enamels, fusing, hot glass, metal work, pate-de-verre and slumping. She has developed her own individual style by mixing techniques and materials and incorporating printmaking methods and typography. Sue also runs her own studio where she teaches a range of courses. The most recent was a sell-out Christmas decorations charity workshop. Attendees were invited to make two decorations, one to keep while donating the other to the Winchester Hospice for them to sell at their own fundraiser events. All proceeds went to Winchester Hospice. Sue undertakes commissions for glass splashbacks as well as teaching courses such as glass wall art, glass dishes, and mini glass landscape courses to beginners.
