  • I can also confirm receiving an answer that the interest is delayed this month, but we are now at Wednesday so "early this week" has not happened!

Noted, but we've already established that this won't be relevant to me, because I don't qualify for any for October :(

Ditto. Second chaser yesterday and same ‘early this week’ if it’s not turned up first thing tomorrow I’ll just raise a complaint

Mine's missing too. Online chat agent said it'll hopefully be sorted "this week" when I asked on Tuesday night. I wonder if we'll all get a small 'we're sorry' bonus when it eventually arrives?

I put a complaint in this morning. Will see what comes of it.

I don't think I'd expect it if I was you. If the 30p or so a month that I typically get is anything to go by, we're only talking about a bit of a delay - a week or so - in crediting a small amount to your bank account. It's a bit irritating, and maybe a little inconvenient, but is the delay significant enough to cause any noticeable loss?

    Wishful thinking, you're right.

I got a response to my complaint yesterday. Just to confirm my interest had been paid on the 10th. The reason for the delay I was given

"We were unable to give a definitive date as it had effected a number of customers and we were applying the interest in waves to ensure we rectified all the effected customers accounts correctly"

Didn't get any compo.. might respond with a whinge. That was my last month on the 5% rate, ok it was 'only' £6.23 they held back. But still...
