Normally I am really happy with Boots, especially their sales but this time I am furious.

As soon as theit online sales started I placed a nice order for my children's birthdays and christms 2008. No problems, order submitted, processed and and dispatched.

2 big boxes arrived, 1st one perfect, second one addressed to me contained someone elses order, had her invoice in it just wrongly addressed to me (and vice versa as it turns out she has mine). So I call Boots customer services, guy was very apologetic and all was fine...was on their computers that the other lady had arranged for collection of mine and so the same was arranged for me, collection for this morning. So my assumption was that once the depot received our boxes they would relabelled and resent to the right recipient. Boots say the can't do this! And now most of the items are out of stock, so order will have to be cancelled, but I am expected to wait for a courier to pick up the box and take it back to Boots....I can't get mad at the customer services guy, it's not his fault but I am mightily peeved.

So I agree to a collection of the-box-with-no-home-to-go to this morning. Waited in 3 hours for the courier....and he hasn't turned up! 3 hours wasted over their double error!

Dunno what to do now. I don't see why I should have to wait in again....

Anyway had to vent...any other Boots stories?

Politely ask for compansation. It is a shame the other lady does not live in your area so you could swap  . Human error and not nice ,you now loose half your order.
Better NOT say Happy New Year! prehaps seasons greetings. Julie

Do you use speech recognition software which is set up a certain way. If you are manually typing do you not find it more of an effort to type with the first letter of every word a capital?

Sorry to hear about the cardigan - did you write to the store or Head Office?

Isn't it weird how it is 10 times harder to read text that is written with a capital letter at the beginning of each word. Try it - it gave me a headache!

I think the forum software does it automatically if the post is written completely in capitals. Its pointless though really as its easier to read things the are completely capitalised that it is with just the first letter capitalised.

I Think It Is Because You Had Some That Wasn't In Capitals.

EDIT: See it does work as long as everything is in capitals and you don't add anything else (well except for edits like this).
