Missing additional Nectar points on Sainsbury saved items.

On  2 occasions this week I purchased items from Sainsburys using my Nectar card which should attract additional points I had saved on the app.
On both days the addition points have not been credited to the account (on day 1 other saved items were purchased and these were credited immediately as normal.) The day 2 purchase was the only item I purchased and was not credited.
This has been happened  previously on the odd occasion but 2 days running indicates there could be a problem so it may be worth checking to ensure you have not been affected .
I am taking up with Nectar as I have done previously & sent them copies of the receipt but in the past I also sent a screen print of the saved Nectar items - however I notice now if you try to screen shot from the app you get a security policy notice and the screenshot cannot be taken. 
In the light of the current press articles I wonder if this is related.

    me too ... received transaction points yesterday but not offers points (they are still present in Saved Offers) ... phoned Sainsbury's today, they advised allowing it till Monday. The app says allow 48 hours.
  • Had the same problem Fri Nov 1st. Suddenly points appeared 9:30pm Sat Nov 2nd
  • I should have received points for an item purchased on 1 November.
    Using my laptop I did take a screenshot showing the item and the time and date and obviously have the receipt.  I noticed on the day the additional points had not appeared (when usually they do while the actual spend is still pending).  Will take it up with Nectar if they don't appear next week.

    Sarahspangles agree the stolen points are not a new thing. I was answering teaselMay's question re recent press articles as mentioned in in my original post . I had highlighted the fact you can now no longer screen save from the Nectar app to provide proof you had saved an item along with the receipt.
    Nectar resource have previously informed me when I have queried missing points that they cannot see info relating to your offers from Sainsbury which I find odd.

    If I get home after a shopping visit and look at my receipt, and then the points in the Nectar app, I will typically see:

    Receipt - ‘Points earned on’ e.g. 37 points for a £37 spend plus any coupon points e.g. ‘3x points for over £30 spend’ would give me a further 74 points
    App - ‘Bonus Nectar points’ for offers I saved in the app.

    But I won’t see the Receipt points in the app until the following day. Nectar has been going for quite a while and has all the symptoms of an IT system that hasn’t been fully rebuilt as features like the App were added on.

    (It’s not actually me that uses it, OH who is retired does ‘top up shops’ there and gets free parking for his gym visit. He likes to get extra points - whether or not we actually needed the item!)

    Received missing points today ... dated 3rd November 2024, with purchases itemised, for products purchased on Friday 1st.
  • Mine have turned up too. It looks like there was a problem last week.
    Strangely enough in my Facebook feed this morning there was sponsored Nectar ad about boosting your budget by collecting & spending @ Sainsbury & there are lots of comments on there about missing additional  as well as stolen points posted in response.
