Hi everyone,

The house is quiet, it's just me and Steve. We're off to a wedding, an early one at 12.30 but I can't complain, we got married at 11.30.

We'll have to take Ziggy out before we go and we're taking the friend who was widowed earlier this year. I don't drink so I'm always Des. We were surprised to be invited although we've known the groom since he was born nearly 40 years ago.

Morning All

Dull and damp here, the washing is on the pulley, not much chance of it drying outside today.

Glad the little one is on the mend dp1. Well done on getting new kitchen flooring, such an upheaval.
Pleased to hear the dentist wasn't as bad as expected Chrisca.

I was out last night and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and company - 3 courses for £25 that was freshly cooked, hot and tasty. It's the biggest meal I've eaten in a while so won't need anything for a while today. Been out this morning to collect a parcel and get the tyres on the car checked, the place I go to never charge for checking and putting air in so they get a tin of biscuits for their tea breaks!

Housework to do today, I'm going to gut the living room and move the furniture around. I think I've chosen a new sofa but need to time things so I'm not without as DS2 and DP are coming over next Thursday for a week and I think the rest will probably visit too.

Morning all

Dry here for now and no rain due but it’s looking very cloudy. I have washing on the go but it will have to stay inside I think. We are just waiting for the log man who was due at 10 - he is always at least 1/2 hr late it will be good to have a stock of logs in though.

DD is working this morning she will be back around 3.30 OH is taking his dad to see his mum so I am going to pull out all the birthday / Christmas presents and see how far I have got I have ordered some wrapping paper so will need to make a start wrapping soon ( I hate wrapping presents with a passion ) 

Dinner tonight will be Fahitas which we did not have last night we had a Chinese takeaway instead which was delicious, I will cook tonight and OH can do tomorrow as he has a busy day today.

i Will have a tidy / clean through downstairs today and do upstairs tomorrow.
