Child's wages on UC

My son who is 17 and in college full time has just started a part time job, do I need to declare this to Universal Credit? Getting conflicting info on Google. My claim is running smoothly and don't want to upset the apple cart if I don't have to.

No need to declare it, its his money to spend as he wishes.  No impact on UC
