On-Line Shop on Marketplace

Options
Searching for a 'sewing machine near me' (Newcastle), I Messaged a seller asking if their item was still available.   The response was that they were an on-line shop whose warehouse is at Unit 1, Minton Distribution Park, SP$ 7RT.  No company name was given.  They sell new items, and delivery would be within 3 days

Should I be nervous of this?  I guess I already am as I'm posting on here.  Is this a modern business model, a scam or something in between? Do they buy up discontinued lines for resale?  Any info you may have would be useful.  Thank you.

I see loads of these adverts. If they don't make it clear up front that they are a business, don't go near them

I wouldn't buy from a advert pretending to be a private seller on FB. They might not even have the goods.

I only buy from individual private sellers on FB with cash on collection

Very likely indeed to be a scam. If it follows the usual pattern they will ask for an unsafe payment method and if they deliver anything at all it will be completely substandard and not what they were advertising.
