i found a garage that can do 2 rear tyres for £115 but someone mention on here it may be better do go a bit more premium rather then budget
I’ve used premium and budget tyres.
They all crack nowadays I think it’s the eco oils used in production.
I think I will be changing to Landsail LS388 BBB rated.
Changing from 215/50/17v to 215/50/17w.
W makes them cheaper.
Found for £68 a corner at a small tyre fitting centre but getting ATS Euromaster to price match.
Just wondering because there is an independant near to me that I try use rather than one of the large chains.0 -

By dropping it after removing the tyre.
They refused to repair the wheel, denying they damaged it.
Even after the 4 people in the waiting area had watched the fitter drop it.
My little brother is a rather big boy with a bit of a temper.
A few words later, hospital visits etc.
The manager agreed to pay for the alloy to be refurbished.
So I will avoid them.

If there was advisory work last year it's always good to get it done sooner rather than later. Worn pads could end up needing discs too if they wear down over that time and other things might be even more expensive - drive shaft boot that would be a few quid if replaced but needing new driveshaft if it wasn't fixed in time.
Not specifically motoring but building up an emergency fund that will cover exactly this sort of eventuality would be beneficial. Maybe have a look at the budgeting board to look at ways to budget the cost of the car/servicing over 12 months so you have the money there to cover repairs.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1
