    Did you receive that order in the post?

    Have you filed your defence?

    If not, get it emailed TODAY BEFORE 3.30pm to the local court and the solicitors or you'll get a CCJ again.

    @Coupon-mad Yes, I received the court order by post and submitted my defence on 21/05/2025. I’ve also received the claimant’s Directions Questionnaire, but I’m disregarding it in line with the instructions outlined in the defence draft Template defence to adapt for all parking cases with added 'admin/DRA' costs - edited in 2024

    Ah OK, but when you rang the local court, did they confirm they'd got your defence (you didn't email it to the CNBC by mistake I hope?).

    If the court has got your defence, then the CCJ will come off in June.

    If you have ANY holiday or work commitment, family events/baby due date or any unavailable days/weeks for the rest of the year (including half terms if you have kids) I would definitely send a DQ now. Always add at least a day or two as 'unavailable' either side of holidays (and an entire month at least either side of any baby due date, not that I know your circs but you would not believe how many people haven't properly crossed out entire months to cover this sort of clear unavailability).

    They told me they’ve received it and are processing it.

    OK, so I suggest you follow the C's lead with downloading & filing/serving a DQ because there must be some unavailable weeks you want the court to avoid?

    Thank you for the advice — I’ve just followed through with it  :)

    Additionally, I contacted the Registry Trust, and they submitted a query to the court on my behalf. The court responded, and the CCJ has now been removed.
    That's good!

    @Coupon-mad
    I hope you're doing well.
    I received the email below today.
    I've previously informed both  Gladstones and the claimant of my new address on multiple occasions. I'm beginning to wonder if this is intentional or a trick?
    Would it be possible to request that all future documentation and communication also be sent via email?
    Many thanks!
    Lia

    Depends what your answer is. If it's your permanent address for service for all PCNs (not just this claim) then tell them that.
