Disabled bay parking ticket, unclear signage?

Hi
I suspect I already know the answer (I should have looked more closely) but does anyone have any thoughts on whether I'd be successful in appealing mistakenly parking in a disabled space? The ticket is from Milton Keynes city council.

These images are from Google street view and are old, I think the painting in front of the spaces is worn away completely now. I should have been more careful I know but I just didn't realise these were disabled spaces, in my opinion the signage is 'lacking' to say the least. I'm used to there being clearly painted yellow signs on the floor and a sign in front of you as you pull in the space. I parked in the right hand space, I can't be sure but I think the small sign on the post in the right hand bay is missing now, unfortunately I didn't take pictures at the time as I didn't read the ticket properly and assumed it was because I'd paid with Ringo and they came before the payment had registered rather than being in a disabled bay.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts (their evidence is at the bottom of this post).

This is their evidence.

    Thanks, I've done that now.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else feels those bays aren't clearly marked as disabled.

100% agree and you were my relative I'd tell you to appeal through all 3 stages.

There are three signs indicating disabled parking
The extra width is also a indicator
It's true the markings on the road or in a poor state on the Google map dated 2020
I think if you are going to fight it you need to have the current view now before someone gets the line marking team out
I note that further down the road in 2020 there was at least 4 disabled bays but in Sept 2024 there are now 6 EV charging points the sign hasn't changed could mean 3 are for the use of the disabled at this point there is only 1 sign
