Problems in updating driver's licence
Hey there
Trying to assist someone who needs to get their driver's licence updated. Double whammy - she's married and she's moved. Easy enough but she is not a UK citizen and doesn't want to send her original documents in case they get lost.
Is there a way to do this without sending the original documents? I couldn't quite work my way through the DVLA website to see what alternatives there are. I had thought that she might be able to get them both certified by the post office and send those copies instead but I'm unsure and I don't want to suggest things that are going to cost her money that she doesn't have.

Could do it in two stages, change of address first. Both are free if not updating photo.
Dependent on what basis she is in the UK some of the original document options only require the reference number.
