There is a train station about 15 minutes walk from the Bowl, last year they ran a courtesy shuttle bus for all the concerts but they will not be doing so this year for 'Health and Safety reasons?!'.

Watford is about 35 minutes by train from MK, the trains run regularly as it is on the main line to London. Milton Keynes is Junction 14 of the M1 and Watford is Junction 5 and 6 of the M1 which is also right by the junction for the M25. By the time you got to Watford on the train and jumped in your car most concert goers wouldn't have even got to the Motorway junction! If I were you I would book your train tickets though as there will be a lot of people travelling by train and leaving the car altogether.

My daughter and friend went to see Greenday last saturdayat the bowl.

They went by bus to the bus station which is right by the rail station. If you search on Google for the bowl the MK website had loads of info. I even printed them an idiot guide walk route from the bus station to the bowl.

However I collected them by car ... horrendous. All approach roads to the bowl are closed by police on concert nights and when I got to the station (pick -up ) point cars were 3 deep and it took over an hour to leave the town.

Have a look though I am sure you will find rail info. but don't plan to get anywhere in a hurry after!

There is no train station in Dunstable, the closest is Luton which is 10 miles away but it's on a different line and you can't get a train there only a bus which defeats the object! I'm trying to rack my brains and think what other towns the train stops at but the only other one I can recall is Hemel Hempstead which is Junction 8 of the M1.

    Hope this helps

Not sure if I made it clear but there are NO trains from Luton to MK - it's on a different line, didn't want you to book anything on my words of wisdom!

If you are going by car and dumping it somewhere to go by train into MK, have you thought about Northampton which is north of MK and quite well served by trains.
