Spouse visa application

Could someone please advise me on my situation?
I recently submitted a spouse visa application for my husband. We were married in the UK after he arrived on a fiancé visa, and now we’re applying to extend his stay with a spouse visa. I completed the application myself here in the UK, and I meet all the financial requirements.
My husband has already attended his biometrics appointment, but just two days afterward, my company informed me that I was being let go due to a reduction in headcount.
Will this affect my husband’s application?
I do meet all other requirements i.e house, relationship etc....

He would need to have been granted the visa before you are made redundant otherwise you need to inform them of a change of status and the application would be denied. If he already has the visa and you lose your job then that is different, but obviously you would need work and he will have no recourse to public funds.

Not personal experience but from others it ultimately comes down to if they check with your employer or not. If they dont it will be on the strength of what you submitted already. If they do and they say you've been fired/made redundant then expect more challenges.
Presumably you are already job hunting?0 -

Presumably you are already job hunting?I have been employed with my company for 4 years and provided an employment letter at the time of submitting the application. I applied under Category A, as I had been employed for more than six months.
I am not worried about the job, I can get another one just worried about the current applicationOnline, it states that the decision on your application is based on the documents submitted at the time of application (when the fee is paid, etc.), and anything provided afterward isn’t considered. I’m unsure how accurate this is.0 -
