This week has been very unexpectedly spendy on the food front. Needs must, OH is having trouble eating so we did an emerg. order from Waitflower as he was very particular about what he wanted for BF & lunch and we didn't have it in the house. He's lost far too much weight in too short a time which is worrisome as he's always been a bit viking in stature. ATM I'd rather he ate something rather than nothing, though I did threaten to get him a perscription for that gross fortisip liquid shake that I lived on the year I was in and out of hospital.
So money shuffled from emerg fund to cover Monday's unplanned takeaway, Tuesday's disaster dinner and this evening's Waitflower order! I'm sure we are still fine but I didn't want to risk there not being enough for planned spends as next money shuffle is not due until 20th of month and there are several bills between now and then!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! ...reaching a mortgage milestone! We are under 150K!
...somehow missed this last month, so we are now actually under 149K!
4 more overpayments to go this year & then next year we can re-evaluate what is affordable between Jan &aug when I need to renegotiate the terms! I do wonder what kind of interest rate I'll be getting at renewal as I currently have an amazingly low interest rate!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Well done on reaching a new milestone 🙂2

rt - congratulations on the new milestone! That's the result of hard work, focus and budgeting, well done.
Just a thought, as whilst interest rates have changed, will your LTV at least have some impact on the type of deal you could get - so although the interest rate will (possibly) be a step up from what you've been paying, maybe not so gulp-worthy if the LTV is smaller?
