Good morning,

I am after some advice while being made redundant.
We have a 6 year old autistic son which we currently claim high rate care and low rate mobility. My last employer company was amazing regarding flexi hours due to him not being able to go on the bus to be taken to his special school because of separation anxiety. We take him every morning then in would drop my partner off to work and then go to my work. This has now put a spanner in the works and I have been looking to see if I can get something to work around this and currently struggling to unfortunately. My partner is on 20hrs a week and minimum wage, so looking for a temporary solution just to pay bills etc.
I have been looking to see if it's possible to claim job seekers then apply for care allowance, but not got a clue where to start if I am honest.
Can anyone help me to see what entitlements I can get please so I can start looking into this or where I start. I am not sure if this will help cover bills etc, but I am hoping for the time being this will.
I appreciate any help on this thank you.
