Second hand curtains from home - selling
brainiack
Morning all,
Just exchanged on my property and moving abroad.
Just exchanged on my property and moving abroad.
I have 2 pairs of curtains which I originally had made to measure and fit in the property for a bedroom and lounge.
Is there anywhere I can sell these second hand? I’ve tried listing for weeks now on eBay but no views hardly (it was a long shot!) but any ideas where I could get even £20 for each pair perhaps?
They’re great condition, in situ for 5 years and minimal wear and tear so would be a shame to put them to waste, and the new buyers aren’t interested

I would just leave them behind if they are made to measure.0

Facebook marketplace always worth a try.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
You can, they will just chuck them in the bin. I've had to throw out a number of things i didn't want when I bought houses. The buyer likely said no to buying but probably wouldn't complain if they were left there, especially in the first month when you move it until you get your own sorted.FlorayG said:

As someone else has said try facebook marketplace but the problem will be that they are made to measure, that's niche.0 -
Any curtain exchanges near you? They tend to like the made to measure rather than off the rack stuff. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
