Yep, sod the patches! Anyway, the habit is stronger than the addiction to the drug, & the belief that a cig is a 'treat' is where I went wrong for years; it's 20 years since I finally stopped, thanks to Allen Carr's book (available from the library). My fella kept smoking for a year or two after I quit, but after I played him Carr's tape once, he didn't smoke another fag!0

I am 5 weeks into quitting, and have been taking champix. I am sure it is the combo of willpower and the tablets, but I can't reccomend it enough for people who have perhaps struggled with cold turkey, or patches.January - Nintendo Wii, 2 x Lush bath bombs :j
