Bag for memory foam mattress

I need to buy a double mattress bag for a memory foam mattress. Not sure whether I should buy a double or king. Any advice pl? Thanks

Surely you buy the one that fits the mattress so you don't get any flappy bits hanging over.

Our memory foam mattress is considerably deeper than the conventional mattress it replaced, which may be why the OP is asking the question. If that is the reason I would suggest measuring all 3 dimensions and checking what the mattress bag states as its dimensions.
