hi,
been trying to google a definitive answer, but i guess it may be worth a shot that someone can explain how new changes to benefits will affect me, been on ill health contribution based benefits since 2003, dla changed to pip which i now get enhanced on both components, i know the pip payments have not been made p;ublic yet, but i have been in esa support group contribution based since 2011, was told it is still legacy not new style, if i get reassessed will i have to fill in new wca updated version or as i have read it will only apply to new claimants, my condition has not improved so nothing to report to them yet, it is a lifelong thing that only gets worse, or does a reassessment count as a new claim, again i have read it does not, i do not get any income related benefits and in my sixties now, so chances of working are not great, no computer skills, basic surfer, the working from home has been given as the reason that needing to be accompanied and being a danger to myself and others is no longer considered, is all esa including contribution based being transferred to universal credit, god man just need to get to 67 so i can be a pensioner in poverty, but that is not until 2031, any words of advice welcome, thanks, i know a lot will probably depend on the autumn statement in november, but would like to know how it stands now

As it stands now we don't know what changes there will be and we won't know until that white paper is published sometime this Autumn.
Having said that, this forum is about benefits entitlement, not about benefits policy so I suspect this thread will be closed, the same as other threads like this.3 -

Those solely in receipt of legacy contributions based ESA will convert or migrate to new style ESA at some point, the aim being to complete the process by the end of 2025..4 -

Would recommend checking out this website, which is specifically for benefits-related queries. You don't have to have an account to read, but you do to post.
