EBay items cancelled

I’ve been an eBay buyer for years and buy quite a lot of things.

yesterday I got 2 separate emails from eBay saying 2 sales had been cancelled.  One was for a spray scent which had apparently evaporated.  The other was for a dress and it wasn’t clear why it was cancelled.  I’ve had the money refunded already

I haven’t come across this before and wondering if this is fairly common or is it unusual and I’ve been very unlucky to have 2 cancellations at the same time

I've had it happen once, when I bought something and then the seller decided it was out of stock.  But as long as you have a refund then all is well.  It just sounds like a coincidence that it's happened twice together.

I was hoping it was that.  Over 2 years I lost 6 stone  and gave most of clothes to charity.  I have replaced most now, mainly from eBay.
