Thanks Grizebeck - could you clarify a little? Are you referring to my letter? If so are you saying I’m misunderstanding what people on this thread  have told me or are you saying you disagree with them?

if so - what would you be suggesting I do at the moment? Just ignore CP Plus?

I really am doing my best to follow the advice - I am finding it a little challenging to interpret some of the directions I’m being given though.

  • Thank you d_p_dance - I do understand that and you’ll see I have clarified I have understood that point earlier in the thread

are you saying here specifically that I shouldn’t use the word fine in my letter or are you making a more general point?

Its not a fine, so no point using that word, only magistrates issue fines, in mags court etc, private parking companies do not issue fines

So its a general observation, call it what it is, a PCN ( invoice. ). The paperwork tells you what it is

Most people are agreed that you ignore C P Plus ( unless they post a letter of claim or court claim to you , ONLY those two matter. )

Any actual complaint would go to MOTO , preferably their CEO , as a complaint. ( Not an appeal. )

So if you do complain, please use the correct terminology, otherwise they could just reply that nobody has sent you a fine ( ignoring the rest of the complaint. )
