So... how did Martin do tonight?
One for those watching the Martin Lewis show... first part on Energy bills.
Personally I think he made a decent fist of trying to explain that fixed tariffs don't mean fixed bills, which seems to be a perpetual source of confusion for many average punters.
Wondering if I'm in a minority, but anyone trying to explain complex concepts in simple terms in a short slot deserves credit for effort. Maybe I'm in a benevolent mood

Felt it was rushed, trying to fit too much in like he always does… he needs to concentrate on 1or 2 topics then he doesn’t have rush it0

I was pleased he got Agile and Tracker the right way round after muddling them twice on the podcast lately!
Seriously though - the show is a good watch, it's fast-paced but that's just Martin's style, and it also plays in to the "magazine show" approach - if the TV channel wanted an in-depth documentary type programme then that would be what was delivered! (And realistically, on prime time ITV, it just wouldn't get the audience!) 🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
