hi all can anyone advice, i'm reading on sky news that santander lost a court case today with commision paid to garages on car loans

There is a case (which they will appeal) on the basis of commission not being disclosed at all, it's related to a case last week and is a long way from settled. Was this a normal loan or car finance,. HP/PCP?
If it was a normal loan, then "commission reclaims" are irrelevant.
If it was car finance, then read https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/reclaim-car-finance/ which has free tool to kick off the process of finding what sort of commission was paid. It wont be fast but get going and see what Santander say0
