Hotels.com assistance????

Good evening,
I had my AMEX bank details scammed and then my hotels.com site taken over by someone else. Whilst on there, they cancelled 2 non-refundable bookings I had made. I have subsequently contacted the hotels and they have no more spaces left!
I have tried to contact hotels.com via their chat system and keep getting fobbed off continually. I just keep getting told another team are looking into it and they will get back to me.....they never do!
Any thoughts on taking this forward????
Thanks in advance

If your Amex account was hacked how are Hotels.com liable for anything?
What have they die wrong?1 -
That sounds something more vindictive than a scam as there is nothing in it for them to cancel your hotel bookings unless you claim its the owners of the hotel that have done it?Chazbosh said:Good evening,

It's certainly not an insured peril, maybe if you are lucky and find someone curious enough they may do something out of curiosity but it won't payout on the hotels.Brie said:can your travel insurance help?0
