    Final NSD of the month here! 😊🎉🥳🤩 Really pleased with this month as I could feel myself drifting into spendthrift habits again but reporting here has absolutely helped.

    - When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £245,192
    - OPs to mortgage = £7,443 , Interest saved £2,775 to date
    Fixed rate 3.85% ends November 2029

    Read 45 books of target 52 in 2024 (as @ 6th December)
    Produce tracker: £200 of £300

    Absolutely it did. Spendthriftness comes over me when I am unhappy, bored, stressed … I’ve been a mix of all three for the weeks since leaving my last job. Having this thread has been an anchor which means that even if I feel that I have achieved nothing else in a day (I become very self critical at times like this too! 🙄😂😉), then NOT spending has been an achievement. 😊

    @KajiKita being in between jobs can be hard to deal with - hope something new comes your way soon? In the meantime you're right, it is good to have something like this challenge because it gives a feeling of control over spending, which is a good feeling xx :):)
