Afternoon all
So the long story short is:
28th May, paid deposit for new garage door.
202nd Jul door fitted but too big so doesn’t open fully. 2 roof struts halved in depth so far. Fitter apologies and says they’ll order a new door. Old door already cut up, so wrong new door left fitted. Told 6 weeks for a new one to arrive.
28th September, emailed fitter - response wa sit woul be fitted week 14th Oct.
29th October, still no new door so have requested a refund of deposit (£600).
5 months since initial order and not had a response from fitter yet. Am I being too hasty to request a charge back from CC next week?
Thanks in advance

So they've left the wrong door fitted as a temporary measure, and you're effectively looking for your money back? In that case, if you get a refund then they'll want to take their "temporary" door back, leaving you with a lovely big hole at the front of your garage.
Doesn't sound like you've thought this one through ...1 -
