Has anyone experience of this subject?
I’m told by BG that their plumbers (Dyno) replace a single item only, to their specification but are unable to give me any details of this. So the replacement may be different to the one I currently have.

It seems that I have to pay the call out fee only to have a potentially unsuitable or inferior mixer tap installed. Any comments/experience gratefully received.

Before I speculate why are they replacing this item? And while you are waiting for them to get in touch I'd be looking and copying what you would like for the tap. Pays to be prepared.

As I understand it if it is a pair of taps they will replace both as per the T&Cs.
"We will replace a pair of taps to a single item of sanitary ware where only one can’t be repaired"
No idea of the quality of the tap though. I have brought my own and just got them to fit them before if that helps.0
