How long should it take for a compensation claim for cancelled/delayed flights? We submitted ours 9 weeks ago, and we still haven't heard back

I waiting a good few months before I heard back on my claim with BA over the summer. If I called up they gave me a date I'd hear by and I'd never hear by that date, then one day it randomly came through. Not very helpful, but it isn't the quickest0
