  • People who don't like animals - I stay away from them.

Personally, I'd be very grateful not to have to have anything to do with someone with a sweeping attitude like that.

    I don't like animals.

That doesn't make me a bad person. I'm highly allergic to anything with fur so have only experienced misery around most of them. However, I would never deliberately cause or wish harm on any living creature, including slugs, snails, wasps and spiders. How many so-called 'animal lovers' can say that?

We don't have any pets but I wouldn't say I didn't like animals, it just isn't convenient to have a dog or whatever due to our lifestyle, does that make me a bad person?

I think a pet forum is a good idea, there are lots of areas where pet owners can save money from good deals on food to insurance.:money:

We have loads of pets, My daughters each have a Hamster, My OH has 2 guinea pigs, We have 2 tropical Aquariums, goldfish, and I have just got a dog for myself!! So a pets forum sounds like a good idea 2 me..

All the time U waste in that paper chase

Between the two of us, my daughter and I have 2 cats, 1 hamster (who thinks he is a re-incarnation of Houdini!) and a large tank full of tropical fish.

A forum about pets would be really good. Many of my friends don't have pets or have pets which are different to mine, so I would appreciate having others to discuss pets orientated topics.

Oh, and my friends without pets? they're very nice!

But I understand what the post meant. So many people who don't have pets make comments like: "a good hamster is a dead hamster". (I've actually heard that one - not made it up!). It may be tongue in cheek but to a sensitive pet lover aware of some of the cruelty inflicted on some animals, it's not funny!

Pink-winged flying stick insects are pretty strange, but they are beautiful and I love them.

    Pink-winged, is this one?

    Hi
I use this supplier for food for my 6 cats, they do dog food too, but I don't have a dog so can't tell you if it's any good. They also do special diets. The quality is as good as, if not better than, Iams. You can order a small bag to try postage free. http://petfoodwarehouse.co.uk/

Since starting on the food my 6 have stopped throwing up all the time and their general condition has improved. It's cheaper than Iams, the delivery is fast too. Btw I have no link with this company I am just a customer.
