Search on Cifas database

Hi 

I just received my SAR from cifas. I done credit card eligibility check for Asda card. It showed up approved subject to further checks. I did not went ahead with the application. 

The cifas report shows the following: 


Normally searches do.not show up on cifas database. It just shows up on credit report. 

What is this, and it won't affect any of my credit applications.

Searches are not visible to financial institutions checking CIFAS, they do show up on an SAR, which is the bit you see. 

Is there a reason you are checking CIFAS? I am not saying that it is unwise, but the reason that people normally do is because they are denied credit and there are often other reasons behind that.
