Straightforward Iva provider. You'd be better taliking to someone who doesn't have a product to sell. Maybe National Debtline

    I guess it is https://clearpathsolutions.co.uk/

Has the creditors meeting actually been held so the IVA has started, if not it is not too late to pull out even if the meeting is tomorrow!

Edit - well done for deciding not to proceed.  Post a Statement of Affairs here and get some useful tips about options  https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/financecalculators/soa.php

simple question to ask yourself - why pay them £4200 when you could be using that money to clear your debts.

It's not clear if £4200 is what the OP expects to pay his creditors, or whether that is the IVA fees? In which case the fees are very low.

@witchypoo1973, stop paying your other creditors if necessary, or pay a token £1, and get back to the Council about a repayment scheme.

If you can't afford the minimum payments on your consumer debts, stopping paying them is the first step towards sorting out affordable repayments.

I'd suggest you block the company if they are too persistent.

The important thing to remember is that this company make money from the fees. Just read the job description. The primary role is lead generation, sifting incoming calls to identify sales opportunities and making out going calls (telesales).

It's not clear from the website if they employ Insolvency Practitioners or just get fees from referrals. But someone's disappointed you aren't contributing to their Christmas bonus.

Block them on phones and email.
