    Hi All

So i saw the last Mot only and was told it was an error - and they explained it was an error with the MOT tester. No problem i thought - the bike turned up with the right mileage and the trip odometer read 800 miles so it backed up the story.
The last MOT shows the last 4 mileage readings. I can understand one reading being wrong as I bought a car recently where there was a very obvious discrepancy on the mileage where one year it was mis-keyed but one reading wrong is a very different to claiming that 4 readings were wrong. What about the service history? What does the mileage show on that?

Having said that I would expect a major dealership (was it actually Harley?) would do those checks and verify that the mileage was correct. How you can resolve that after a year is an unknown question, if they won't play ball then you might need to try small claims for your loss.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
