Can my mum sell her house and move in with me?

If she claims Pension credit and was getting a severe disability premium on the Pension credit then she needs to let Pension credit know that she is now living with another adult and has how much capital she now has from the house sale and how much she has given away. Any means tested benefits would likely stop but does depend on amounts. If the daughter was claiming single person occupancy discount on council tax then she needs to let the council know her mum has moved in.Amnotatallsure said:She is worried about asking, in case it gets her in trouble. Hence why I am asking. To be fair, her mum has already moved in and sold her house a few weeks ago.
So what has been done is done and trying to work out if she needs to inform any one in order not to have cheated the benefit system.2 -
