I have quite a few questions. Is the cheque made out to your friend or your friend's father?Does the account holder have a paying-in slip?During the covid years when i couldn't get to a branch, my bank First Direct allowed me to post my cheque with a paying-in slip to an address in Northamptonshire.Assuming the cheque is made out to your friend's father:So if your friend can find out an address to which you can pay in cheques, your friend's father could write to the bank asking them to pay the cheque into his account. Include the cheque and the paying-in slip as well as the covering letter.0
