What are people buying ahead of the budget?

Ahead of the budget on Wednesday I wonder what items people are buying / stocking up "just in case" the budget has an effect on their cost. Fuel, alcohol and cigarettes are the obvious ones but is there anything else?

Nothing. It’s all speculation anyway amd a few pence here and there isn’t going to break the bank.

I have actually just stocked up on wine, but it’s nothing to do with the budget and everything to do with Sainsbury’s 25% off deal. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I did a survey yesterday, which asked about insurance premium tax, I'm now wondering if this will feature in this weeks budget?

All I have bought this week are the investments I'd sold 30 seconds earlier... back inside an ISA.
I don't smoke. And don't drink enough acohol for any rises to be a concern (and we have enough random wine and spirits around the house to last us for years).
I did brim the tank yesterday but only because it needed it.• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.
