I have this issue about every 6 months with Virgin. The lovely sales lady usually gets really miffed when I refuse to engage 'but Miss T2C if you call back you won't get through to me so how will I tell you about my special deal?' It is worrying that it seems like I'm an anomaly refusing to discuss my account without knowing who's on the phone, none of them ever seem to have experienced that before.
The funniest one was when I asked them to email me the info and I'd be in touch if I was interested 'but Miss T2C you have opted out of email communications' I really wanted to deny being Miss T2C at that point 😂

my husband told one sales person to send him written details. 

They persisted but he just kept saying send me details in wiritng.

No details in writing received and no more sales calls from them.
