It's going to be a long dayNothing special going on today. Popping to a very large garden centre today which sells nearly everything else as well as plants.Got my spring bulbs planted yesterday and put up the bird feeder. Garden full of birds in no time as well as the blasted squirrels trying to get to the bird feeder too grrrrrHope everyone has a good day x11

Morning All
A bit damp and dreary this morning but I'm off to work so it doesn't matter. The washing was nearly dry outside yesterday, just needed half an hour in the TD to finish it off.
I had the little one from Friday afternoon until yesterday lunchtime so her Mummy and Daddy could have a weekend away for their 1st wedding anniversary, they had a good time in Edinburgh. I was fit for nothing after they left, with the clocks changing the little one was up at 5 yesterday!
Hope the dog is recovering Mehefin, what a terrible injury.
Well done to your little one dp1, what a star.
Congrats on the fruity win Scarlet!
Must dash, hope you all have a good day. Take care. XX12 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. After a lovely sunny w/e we are forecast a bit of a gloomy day, though still mild, so that will have to do!
I still haven't made a start on buying any stocking fillers, I just can't summon up any enthusiasm. This week I really must have a trip out somewhere if I can summon up the motivation. But it won't be today! I have promised myself I will make a start cleaning all the windows inside. Not much fun but needs must!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, fed up or sad. Take care all, stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -
Good morning, thanks Gers.
Damp here, and it was quite cold yesterday.
Didn't do much yesterday, we weren't out at all.
I need to go to the Post Office today though, so might have a quick look round the chazzers while I'm out.
What an awful thing to happen to that poor little dog Mehefin, hope it will be all right.
Hope you enjoy your visit to the garden centre Chrisca, I love a big garden centre.
Hope everyone gets through their day ok, thinking of anyone who is not well.
Take care folks.

Morning all
Busy weekend at the craft fair - more profitable than last year and my new wooden salvaged decorations and signs went down well so a good weekend, nice to catch up with other people you meet at these events too.Pretty tired still though it was nice to have an extra hour. Need to unpack the van and tidy some stuff then give it a good clean in and out as going away Wednesday. No other plans + that’ll be enough!Hope everyone has a good week

It's very grey and damp outside though not cold. I'm off this morning down to Glasgow to see the Rocky Horror Show tonight.:) It's on all week with Jason Donovan in the lead role apart from this one, which was why there were tickets left to buy, every other performance was sold out months ago. It doesn't matter to me who plays the lead, if it's not Richard O'Brien then it could be anyone. I'm taking a friend who hasn't ever seen it, or the film, so have warned her to wear a hooded jacket or coat.I'm going on the coach again, leaving the car in town and enjoying the journey without worrying about finding parking in Glasgow. On the way to the coach stop I'll be taking away rubbish and recycling. No exercise class today as the time would have been too tight to make the coach, especially as there's still the light controlled diversion (from last October) in place which delays the trip.@Chrisca - well done on planting spring bulbs, it'll be worth it when they all pop up.@Camelot - the joys of grandparenting are only a sleep away from exhaustion.@TA - you'll do it...soon! Take your own time, windows won't go away.I hope things are good for everyone, hugs to our poorlies.13

I bought one for that specific reason @Floss as my son suggested it to me too. My other son a few years ago bought me a hanger for my bird feeders but it has 2 hooks with butterflies on. The design of it doesn't allow me to hang it down the pole so I've attached it to the top but I don't think it will do the trick, more's the pity!

Morning all. Dry here so far.
Today DH is out to lunch with a couple of friends so I'm going to spend the time making some lunch stuff for tomorrow, when I'm spending time with friends to play music. I'm going to have a go at a white bean dip, as at least one of them is vegetarian. Not something I've attempted before but I can always buy some hummus if it goes wrong! Then I'll make a spiced ginger cake; this divides into two cakes very easily so we can eat one at home
Yesterday we went to a large garden centre but it was so jam packed with cars we drove straight out again and went elsewhere. Looking online I now see they have some sort of circus show on over half term so that would be why.
Plenty of ironing to do if I feel like it. If not it will have to wait until Thursday.
Look after yourselves.11 -
Morning everyone Gers enjoy the rocky horror show I’ve just let my friend know it’s coming to Darlington in March she’s seen it in Newcastle so that will be a bit closer I’m going to meet her soon for a coffee and a catch up we are a bit later today as she is at the optician first thing. TAFF how are you feeling you have been quiet hopefully you are feeling better. My youngest son and his family are wanting me to go to Cyprus with them next October I have told them I will have a think and let them know this week I’m undecided hubby won’t go but he’s happy to stay at home with the dog but it depends how much I can save I don’t think they realise I’m on the pension now plus if I want to go on holiday I must stop eating fudge . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11
