It's is 100% getting WORSE!!!
Visited Ebay using a web browser on my phone to search for an odd battery size 17mm x 41mm Ni-MH, not logged in with the phone
and browser I get a few hits and sort by price which does NOT sort by price. Prices were up and down like a yoyo, items did not appear
to be promoted or adverts.
Search for the description link so that I can actually see the details why is that not the main option? No wonder sellers get so many problems
because buyers have not read the description, they probably could not find it.
Anyway, I thought I found the right battery and right seller only for that item/seller not to appear on my PC when logged in and searched. Used
another browser that was not logged in and still no items from this seller. I had to put the item number in manually and then I could see all the
sellers items. UK seller with perfect feedback so not a location issue.
I wonder if the same team that designed B&Q's search revamped Ebays search??? B&Q had an item for sale on the opening page but search
for the item and they cannot find it, you have to trawl through endless pages of similar items to find that one.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

ebay A1 is pretty poor when it comes to toy and hobbies. I think they just throw any garbage at you sometimes, often things you have looked at previously rather than whats relevant. The Items are there, you just have to do about 20 searches and wade through loads of stupid suggestions. I have typed in the exact title as listed and ebay cannot find it sometimes. Annoyingly they splatter your Listings with stupid irrelevant suggestions all around the actual Item you are Selling or Buying, just trying to keep you clicking. I think this is detrimental to Sellers, you are paying the commission to advertise your competitor's Products!0

If you use inverted commas the search looks for the exact phrase, I think, which may help narrow things down. Though of course, it depends on you putting the words in the same order as the seller!0
