Hello
To cut a long story short; I have installed a new modem (wireless jobbee).
I can get the internet to work for me (main user) and for the Laptop but the other two users (who have their own user settings - XP) can't access the net; it keeps bringing up the old 'modem connection'.
Please can someone tell me the numptys way of changing the user settings for the other two so they can also use the new modem/settings?
Happy New Year....
Many thanks

When on the other users login, try IE, Tools, Internet Options, Connections Tab, Never dial a connection. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Hi espresso
Having deleted the previous modem details from the other users now, it defaults to Never dial a connection (in grey).
Any other ideas please?

not sure but you may have to setup the wireless connection as you did for the main use. Ie find the wireless network and enter the network key0
