    Carry on for now until such time as you receive a formal discontinuation notification from DCB Legal and/or the Court. Have you checked your Junk/Spam folder as we've just had a thread where the notification was diverted into that folder?
    Thanks, nothing in the junk or spam.

    I'd email the solicitors today and ask:

    1. Given the court has said there's no trace of the hearing fee being paid last week, please send me a copy of your Notice of Discontinuance or I will ask the court to grant my full costs in the case;

    2. If the court is wrong and the fee was paid and the Claimant is not discontinuing, kindly email a consent minute or order, with both parties agreeing that the hearing be vacated and moved to the next available date, given that the Claimants will be aware already from my N180 DQ form that 29th November was listed as an unavailable date.
    Just to clarify point 1, is this an email to DCBL or Parking Eye? Claimant is officially Parking Eye but correspondence is from DCBL. Furthermore, so far I have had no expenditure, so which costs would this be referring to?

    Regarding point 2, where can I obtain consent order from? And once again would that be going to claimant and to the court?

    Obviously to DCB Legal and my reply tells you that you are asking them to supply a consent minute or order. They are solicitors and have a duty to the court.

    So I called them again today to confirm if they have received any payment, the lad on the phone spoke to the court, and has confirmed that on the 6th November, DCBL have sent an email in to formally discontinue the claim! Amazing news, thanks so much for all the help, probably would have caved in without this forum and all the guidance, much appreciated. I will also get a written confirmation soon. Thanks again!
    Hopefully you emailed DCB as advised to ask for a copy of the NoD?  We need to see that to count your success in the thread by @Umkomaas

    Check your email junk. It could be there.

    Congrats!  That's a win.

    Can you please show us a picture of 'the Claimant's Notice of Discontinuance', with your personal detail hidden of course.

    No that we don't believe you, just that @Umkomaas is collecting evidence to present to Parliament.     :)
