I’m currently with 02 as part of an 02/Virgin deal. Finding 02 quite expensive and looking to change and was wondering what people’s experience of EE is. Do you get good reception where ever you go and do you also get good reception when your in shops, pubs etc. My phone has an eSIM will EE be able to deal with that so I can keep my current number.
Thanks

EE has by far the best coverage for me.
And yes, you can get an EE e-sim. or physical sim.0 -
I agree that EE coverage is pretty good for coverage although it obviously varies according to location.
On the negative side, I've generally found EE to be quite expensive with few worthwhile deals available whereas you can get good discounted O2 rates via Uswitch.
If you are happy with the coverage you get with O2 then I would look at simply getting a new deal with them via Uswitch (it's easy to keep your number in the signing up process). Example of prices 50GB £10 per month 30 GB £7.99 and 100 GB for £150 -
I was with EE for a while. Not as good reception as I had been led to believe but generally okay. When a relative moved and I was doing a lot of work in her house I got no reception where she stayed, not even outside in the garden. All providers will have places where you get no signal.EE tend to be more expensive than the other main players, in my experience, but there are some MNVOs that use their network. You can port your current number to any other network.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

I'm on O2 sim only and pay £7 per month for unlimited calls and messages and 2GB of data which is doubled to 4GB as I'm also a Virgin customer. They didn't offer me this deal but I told them I was leaving as I had a better deal with another supplier for £5 (Plusnet at the time) and they matched this. O2 also have good offers on their Airtime app so made it worthwhile to stay with them. My son is with EE and they do offer a good discount for Blue Light card holders.0
