Im looking to replace my windows and live on a main road. I have been given conflicting advice on paying extra for "sound proof glass?
Anyone know if its worth it and does it make a difference ?

Magnetic secondary glazing is supposed to be good for noise reduction. Noise comes through air gaps so I suspect that is how it is working. You could fit one for about £100 to see if you like it.0
