The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in an opulent Grand Master room at the Torridon, the five-star Scottish baronial hotel with views towards the saw-toothed mountain ridge of Beinn Alligin. On the shore of Upper Loch Torridon, it has 18 rooms and suites in the main house and 12 in the renovated stable block. Its style is a vibrant mix of original features and contemporary colour and prints.
All manner of activities beckon - from sea kayaking to stargazing - while back at base the Whisky Bar is home to one of the largest selections of single malts in Scotland. The prize includes one tasting-menu dinner for two at 1887, the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, which has three AA rosettes.
The prize must be taken before March 31, 2025, subject to availability and excluding the period from December 23 to January 2.
